Changes. There'll be changes...

I have thought about what I can change to make my teaser trailer challenge the conventions of a crime-action thriller. In many of these types of genre films, the protagonist is a man and the victim is a woman, further enforcing the stereotype of "the damsel in distress". This has made women in these types of films seem weak, always helpless, and needing a man by their side to help them. If i were to reverse the roles, making my protagonist, Jeremiah, become the victim and, Aldanie (name change, felt more suitable), then this would present a major challenge to the crime-action thriller genre. This complex project will present many boundaries but, if i can pull it off, it will be a major achievement for me personally.
